Who we are

The Glen Ellyn Sustainability Group consists of citizens and partner organizations working to reduce our impact on the environment. It sprang out of an earlier initiative known as the Glen Ellyn Cool Cities Coalition, a grass roots effort to encourage the Village of Glen Ellyn to join more than 1,000 other communities by signing the U.S. Mayor’s Climate Protection Agreement. Since then we have held Earth Day Festivals and other educational and community events.
